2023 Italy and Germany Tour Recap!

I’m back from 21 amazing days leading both German and Italian Motorsports Tours!  Below are my Top Highlights for both trips! A special Thank You to those that joined me on this trip and past trips!  I miss the friendships that were created and hope that you’ll return for future trips.  As always, I’m open for new ideas or request for private trips outside of the Motorsports realm as well!

Stay tuned for 2024 Itinerary with a program to bring your children that want international cultural enrichment programs!

Here’s a Recap Video of Germany Travel Adventure Recap and Italy Travel Adventure Recap! More videos to come!  Connect with us on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X with our handle @motorsportlab.

Germany Highlights:

1). Learning how WW2 History connects with the German Automakers.

2). The Motorworld Hotel in Munich was an amazing hotel experience!  It’s a Hotel, Dining Experience, Exotic Car Dealership (independent and OEM) with one-of-a-kind Vehicle Storage.

3), There’s a Purity Law of 3 ingredients for beer:  Hops, Barley and Water!

4). Tracking a Porsche 718 Cayman on the Nurburgring! However, I wouldn’t recommend it in the future unless you have all day to be there. The reason is that there are frequent accidents and you have to wait for them to clear it.  For example, I was scheduled to drive at 9:30AM and didn’t get on the track until 11AM.

5). Learned that the Nurburgring does host F1 Races anymore because it loses about 1.5M EUR per F1 Race and so do other Venues like Miami F1 this past year!

6). That a person can miraculously eat Schnitzel once a day and not be bored.

7). Frankurt has an amazing Museum Embankment Festival on the Main River on the last Sundays of August.

Italy Highlights:

1). Attending the 26th Historical Car Show at Fiorano.

2). Witnessing the new assembly setup for the V12 Hybrid Reveulto at the Lamborghini Factory.

3). Seeing the one off Ferrari KC23 at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.

4). After initially declining the Ferrari 488 Test Drive, witnessing Christina drive the Lamborghini Huracan in front of the Lamborghini Factory and then coming back and saying, I want the the Ferrari 488 next!

5). Warning our guests, Troy and Jenifer to pace yourself when consuming the amazing Italian cuisine. Their response was “no regrets” as they are in Italian once in their lifetime. They regretted it on day 3 when we had a 4 course Wine Tasting and Lunch that ended at 4:30PM and then they had a cooking Class at 5:45PM making Tortelloni.

6). Finding the Barbershop in Modena where Enzo Ferrari used to get his hair cuts: Da Antonio

7). Best Meals were 3 Variations of Lasagna at Chisco Da Morena (Seafood) in Bologna, Ristorante Da Taiadela (Beef) in Sant’Agata next to Lamborghini Factory, Aldina Trattoria (Pork) in Modena!
